If memory serves me right, You should just have to remove the facia by popping it off and the switch should have mounting screws. I can't remember exactly, but I seem to remember the **** for the switch being alittle tricky to get off. A pin or clamp????? I do remember it wasn't that difficult. What happened, did all the parking lights go out and all that remained were the headlights?
if you look at the shaft portin of the headlight **** (it may be easier with the lights turned on) there should be a notch on one side.
Using a small screwdriver or similar instrument in the notch it will hit a smazll tab of metal when slid rearward or the same direction as the switch goes when you turn on the lights. the facia of the dash just pops out with careful and gentle persuasion with as flat tool a butter knife or putty knife works pretty well for this. look around carefully for other visible attaching screws before yo try to pop the facia off so it doesnt become cracked. as for the switch is attatched with screw, probably torx, and once removed just diconnect the plug and read this post backwards to reinstall everything. the ***** just push on after you line up the flat spots in the **** and on the shaft.
