I was doing some online shopping for an ignition module for an '84 F-150, 351W, no ecm. Well autozone had one (listed but no picture) and another site had one for $100 more. Either they were two different things or JCWhitney is super high compared to Autozone.
$100 sounds way to high. They match up by the color of the plastic grommet where the wires come out of the box. If it's light blue should be less than $25. That's mine for an 82 duraspark II with a 302, been a couple of years though.
The one I found was at autozone for $19.00. The one at JCWhitney was $100+. I have always liked JCWhitney, but they need to do some work on their web site. Of course, I'm critical of web sites since that is what I do for a living - well, allowance.
Thanks for the input. Going to replace it today so I wont be able to buy one from you Clifford. Wait a minute, how much?
Some of the cheaper ones are just that...cheap. From my experience the original Motorcraft modules seem to last the longest. I heard you can still get them new, anyone know where?
