Let me put in an analogy in the way that a left wing Liberace can understand: It’s like solar power. It’s harnessing something that is already there. Does solar power block out the sun? Does it make the sun colder? No. It simply uses something that would go to waste anyway.

Jackflash, I appreciate the courtesy in your response.

If you don’t support our troops or our country, then by all means, LEAVE. Nobody is forcing you to be here. This is America, we didn’t get all our freedoms from simply saying “oh well” to things. We have to stand up to terrorists. I think we were TOO EASY on Iraq. We should have MOAB’d the whole freaking country and then put up a huge CHEVRON sign that way us v10 owners could get some cheaper techron for our machines.

If you or any of your limp wrested femocrat friends have a problem with that, then you can all go to Massachusetts and screw yourselves in the ***.

P.S. I will not respond to any more posts on this thread, because it is disrespectful to v10klzz21s to change the subject of his thread like this. Besides, there is no point in arguing with anyone who is not open minded enough to admit that they are wrong.

Your argument is flawed... What happens to the photons that hit the photovoltaic cells? They hit electrons, bounce them out of their orbit, causing them to transfer to the atom next to them - this is called ELECTRICITY. This is not free - the photon is gone, never to come back.

Yes, it's "free" energy. But there's a shadow under the photo-cell. Guess why?

Your argument would make sense if the photo-cell were totally transparent and 100% of the light passed right through. But then, it wouldn't generate any electricity either.

Same thing with turbos. There is a transfer of energy from the exhaust gases to the spindle of the turbo. The exhaust gases slow down as a result, and backpressure before the turbo increases. There is no escaping Conservation of Energy. Granted, the resulting increase of torque from the motor outways the small loss to the back-pressure, but it's not FREE.

I apologize to everyone reading this - I just can't stand when an arm-chair "physics major" starts spreading misinformation. Calling me a democrat and other names, like "liberal" is a clear indiciation of ignorance. Why debate? Just start calling people names, maybe they will go away before anyone realizes you're wrong. Oh, I must be gay too, because I don't bow down to your obvious superiority. And how did you get that I do not support OUR troops? This IS America - get used to it, there are other people out there that do not agree with you. And that would be perfect, MOAB a whole country of women, men and children that have NOTHING to do with terrorism just to get cheap oil. Hey, they are just collateral damage, right? What would happen if your next-door neighbor was a terrorist. Would you promote bombing your entire neighborhood (yourself included) ??

No need to apologize; I'm thinking of starting an office pool - make some bets on when he finally gets it. Maybe even make some bets on whether or not he admits he was wrong when he finally does, since he criticized you for not admitting you were wrong when he thought you were.

Yep.

Now, to the so-called physics major. Read and learn:

From howstuffworks.com - "How Turbochargers Work" page 3

One cause of the inefficiency comes from the fact that the power to spin the turbine is not free. Having a turbine in the exhaust flow increases the restriction in the exhaust. This means that on the exhaust stroke, the engine has to push against a higher back-pressure. This subtracts a little bit of power from the cylinders that are firing at the same time.

You may want to read the entire article; you might learn something. You may want to try and learn something about people, too. It is NEVER a good idea to use personal insults in a discussion, ESPECIALLY if you might be wrong (as you are). It makes you look bad, and could also require you to eat more crow later. As for eating crow, we'll be waiting for that apology and the admission that you were wrong.

Now, someone said something about a perpetual motion machine... How much do you want for it?

You can build your own - it's a sealed box full of air - molecules in it are moving all over the place all the time (ie: heat), bouncing into each other, possibly even hitting molecules in the cardboard imparting a small amount of energy to the box itself. Except at 0 degrees Kelvin - but then you void the warranty

0 degrees Kelvin... That's the temperature of my bed when my wife finds out I spent $250 on that Mag-Hytec differential cover, right?

Hey physics dude, we're still waiting.

I too have read in some mags their claims of 'free horsepower'. But I don't think it was meant to be taken literally. For every action there is a reaction, exhaust gasses pushing against an impellar blade have to have an equal reaction, or opposite force pushing back, in the form of increase back pressure. But, to this guys credit, the mags DO say free horsepower. But we all know there's no such thing. To this guy's discredit name calling is uncalled for. There's too many really important things to get worked up over. I've seen Krewat post to many, many different folks, without a problem. Now can't we all just get along ?

I want to know where I can get this perpetual turbo powered lawn mower for free!
Has the Kelvin company been around a while and do they build a good mower?
Are the Democrats imposing a Turbo tax on this unit?
I read popular hot rodding and Have not seen the ads for these but have seen advertisements for fertilizer spreaders!
