Had all 4 out year before last. The oral surgeon that did it insists on putting all his victim...I mean patients out. Probably for the extra $$$. 160 a dose. I got a real bad infection in one socket but it passed. Hurt like a mother though. Way back when I was about 12, an Army dentist, Captain he was, said they needed to come out and sent me to an oral surgeon, a full bird Colonel. The colonel says, are they bothering you? I said no. So he says then don't bother them. I took that bird's advice for 14 years but then they started bothering me. Shoulda had em out while I was covered by Uncle Sam, woulda been cheaper. on the money note, I know quite a few dentists. It is now standard procedure for them to recommend the wizzies come out. They get kickbacks from the surgeons I think.

My dad is the only one on both sides of my family that has a full set of teeth. I think I am the unlucky one when it comes to this. Had 2 wisdom teeth removed a few years back and there weren't any problems. Upstairs I had just one dead tooth bud that had to be removed. That meant going into the side of my jaw, drilling into my skull and removing said bud. That HURT

Looked like I had been smacked in the side of my face with a bat for a week! Was used to the procedure by then, have had 10 teeth pulled total, 7 permanent
