Hard To Find Headers?

I have a 96 F250/460/5spd/4wd. It needs an exhaust system. While I was at it, I figured I would install a set of headers. But I can't seem to find any that fit. All seem to stop at 95. What's the difference betwen 95 and 96? I found Hedman set that almost seemed to work, except it said that fit auto tranny. What difference would that make?

Wasn't the 96 just a carry over year? I would think the 95's would work.

Iv noticed the same thing, I have a 96 and most the parts I find are for up to 95? but I have found some 96 headers I think they were in jegs or summit.. anyone know if their is a diff between 95-96 f-150s?

thanks loosmaster, but i checked the application chart and both ones for my year have a note #9 "Auto Only". what gets in the way, must be the slave cylinder?

Your's is the 7.5L engine, right. The only codes I see on it are 1 and 10, relative to the diameter of the converter inlet size.

That's odd that Gibon's chart mentions nothing of tranny type, except when you go to purchase. Fittment wise, it's probably because of the external slave cylinder as you mentioned. Sorry.
