97 PSD won't start. Help!

97 F-350 PSD. Will not start. Turns over great. Fuel is in fuel filter holder. No smoke from exhaust as I try to crank it. Ran fine yesterday, no problems at all. Ideas?

Id start by testing your batteries. After that check if you're getting tach movement while cranking? If not, your cam sensor may have gone south. You can pick one up from an international dealer for about 100 bucks.

I replaced relay #2 in the power control box and it started and ran fine. Now when I try and start it this A.M. the relay just clicks rapidly and the truck will not start. I am getting tach movement.

Check for fuel pressure. Also check all of your grounds. What relay was that for?

Grounds seem to be good. Relay was for injector driver module. I just switched the relay out with the horn relay and it cranks.

I have the same problem. I have a 2001 7.3. It ran fine last night and this afternoon the same thing, cranks fine but won't start. cranks-has fuel pressure-good batteries. I will try looking at the relays.

Id replace the CAM sensor. Its only a 100 dollar part and if it doesnt fix the problem you can keep a spare in the truck. Most of us do, its a common part to fail.

Yes I checked all the fuses. I did replace the Cam sensor, it was not the problem. I checked the batteries with a meter as well as the battery indicator window; all was good so I thought. I tried cranking after installing the CPS and immediately got out of the truck and noticed the driver side battery window turn from red to a light green. Ck it with meter and it was a volt less then the the other battery. replaced the battery and it worked! Amazing that the truck cranked as if it had two new batteries and would not start. And yes I got a spare CMS.... Thanks for all the replies
