Looking for opinions, even better would be real results, as to which diesel injector cleaner/lube might be the most effective. I've tried the Stanadyne and Power Service products, is there something else out there worth considering? The Good Stuff?
Nothing wrong with my 7.3, just want to add some from time to time as preventative maintenance.
On Stanadyne, mine runs almost as good on winter fuel as it does on summer fuel without Stanadyne. If you want to give your injectors a good intense cleaning sometime, take off the cap to the fuel filter, and pour some Stanadyne straight into the housing. Once you fire 'er up, you'll be running a rich enough mixture of the stuff to clean 'em good. That tip was given to me by two different diesel mechanics.

That's good info. When ever I change a fuel filter on a diesel, I fill it up with Stanadyne.
