240,000 mi I took some diesel klean cleaner and put it in my fuel filter canister( after I drained most of the fuel). It never missed a beat. revved it up several times. worked great. Not cheap cleaner but cheap fix at 240,000 and no injector clean since new!WOW great ! Never use ethanol with glow plugs from what i've read and heard.
Seafoam only has 2 different cans for additives.
one is for 2cycle things.
though I think you can use the regular for 2cycle anyways.
It's a catch all additive. Good stuff only sorta deal.
Mostly cleaner. Anti water.
If you have water in your oil and dump in seafoam, it will get rid of all of the water.
I found this out on my 95. I was getting water in the oil somehow. Not coolant either.
Put some seafoam in there and it even took the water that was collecting on the cap.
I'd try it in my oil with new injectors.
It has some lubricity properties as well as some cleaning properties in there.
Would clean out any sludge in the HPOP and oil pumps as well.
its good stuff.
