I run this in my 7.3, 6.0, and every diesel on the farm. Have for years and makes a difference. Also even approved for my wife's 2010 TDI diesel Volkswagen.
Iv used all sorts of stuff, stanadyne, ams oil, power service, howes, motorcraft, etc. They have all work great for me. Never gelled, never had a problem. I couldn't tell you which one performs the best though. I'm not that intimate with my truck and injectors.
Thanks everyone, I have been having a problem with a miss at around 1400 rpm for some time, it then seemed to move on up from there, 1400 to 1800 or so.
I usually use some 2 cycle oil in the fuel tank, but went to ATF in the last tank. My miss is almost gone. I feel like it is a sticking injector or 2, and was thinking of maybe something better.
Can't afford new injectors right now. Stanadyne dealer, 100 miles away.
I forgot to mention ATF, that is a good one too. Keep using it. And get fuel from places that cycle through a lot of it (if you live in a place that does so). Better fuel quality will help with lubrication as well.

These injectors won't stick and develop a miss at those RPM's. If they "stick", it's on a cold start and it gets better after the engine warms up. Make sure what you're feeling at those rpm's isn't electrical or fuel pressure related. Also make sure your engine oil is full, the proper weight, and doesn't have any additives in it.
one quart/tank is enough... you could run more if you wanted, these trucks could run on pure ATF... so dont worry about putting too much in.
It isnt a cure all, but it cant hurt.
