I have an 03 7.3 PSD. The superchips tuner is set at 110 hp. The truck has 4" turbo back exhaust and AFE air intake.
They all claim that individually they raise the HP of the motor. Would it be reasonable to add them all up to guess the HP increase?
Has any one dynoed and if they did what were there results?
Thanks

That's a good question. Did you notice after you installed the intake and exhaust that you lost torque? That is kind of what it feels like to me. I like the way my 2000X ran with just the Microtuner. Since the intake and exhaust upgrade I seem to run higher rpm and I can't feel as much in the rear end. What has been your experience ?
You would have to put it on a Dyno. Just because they have a claim of HP most of the time the real realized gain is not the same as the claim could be more or less Most of the time much less.. If you where to add them all up you would probably have a real un realistic number of what you really have.
No, even if one claims 20 hp and another claims 30Hp and the third claims 50HP, you won't get the +100HP since it's not additve...
best case scenario is that each will add a bit....
I cant comment because I did all the MODS in one day. I just know that it really woke the truck up.......BIG TIME!!
How ever I did have to take it the dealer for service so I reprogrammed back to stock, removed the airbox, and left the exhaust on. I can honestly say the performance with just the exhaust was boring!!
