The Case of 96 and the Mysterious Side Mirror Option

Has anyone ever heard of, better yet seen, the elusive "turn-signal-in-mirror" option supposedly available on the 96 Bronco? Consumer's Guide reads:

"1996 Ford Bronco: As an industry first, Broncos got optional futuristic mirrors that displayed turn-signal pointers in the glass surface."

This I have heard rumored elsewhere as well, yet never actually documented. I am curious for two reasons:

1) The option would supposedly mark one of, if not the, last option added to the Bronco legacy (before the big ol eped's came along.) This and wood trim on the Eddie Bauer model would constitute the visible changes from 95 (I think).
2) I'm a friggin dork and want to know for sure that I have the final archetype in the Bronco line.

Thanks all

I've got 'em. And mine is an XLT, not an Eddie Bauer. They're pretty cool.

Ok- the dealer told me I had the electric bright mirrors as well. No, I don't. The 1996 XLT Ihave has leather captains chairs and a towing package..etc.. However, best to my
knowledge- Ihave checked- no electric bright mirrrors. The reason I am confused is because my window sticker- check my gallery- lists options- and electric bright mirrors is one.

I believe the "bright" refers to the chrome on the front of the mirror housing...

I have an XLT and upon dismantling the interior I noticed that pretty much every peice is stamped with Eddie Bauer and serial number. So that pretty much goes to prove you are paying a few thousand more bucks for a few extra stickers. That is why XLT's have the mirrors as well, they came off the same line at the plant as the Eddie Bauer edition. It is indeed a rare part that is not replaceable. No aftermarket manufacturers are known to have this item as well.
