Will 08 mirrors fit on my 04?

I have a 2004 F250 Super Duty with the regular style mirrors and I'm looking to upgrade to the towing mirrors and like the look of the 08 ones. I'm not planning on hooking up the power mirror part because my truck now doesn't have power mirrors, but I am planning on hooking up the turn signals by just tapping into the wire somewhere. What I am unsure of is will they mount up to my truck the same, and if not, what are my options?

there are several BB members who have already done it...

it fits the door opening perfectly..

the only issue is wiring but since u said u dont have power mirrors your really laffing...

p.s. good call on the 08 mirrors, they do look good even on the non-08 trucks..

And you can see better with them over the 99-07 trailer tow mirrors. The spot mirror is almost worthless on the 99-07 mirrors. Way better on the 08 SD mirrors.

I adjusted the spot mirrors more ways than a country boy can pick a banjo and I could not elininate the blind spots to my satisfaction. I had to install some C-Better spots to make them good. It seems the height of the factory spots was insufficient. The 08 spot mirrors are taller and seem to have the blind spots covered much better than the earlier ones. The 08 mirrors are also or seem a little wider. At any rate, for what I like they are proportioned better.

Thanks guys. That will probably be my next mod. I just need to get up the money, they're expensive and I'm not going with one of those knock off eBay garbage mirrors. Got me an 08 bumper in the mail as we speak. Looking forward to that too.

I hear you on this. Consider getting them from Ed (FTE/PARTS-GUY) when the time comes (if you haven't already obvously).

Theres a how-to in the Super Duty tech folder. I suggest browsing it since you are new.

And yes, once you use the 08+ spot mirrors you will see how crappy the previous spot mirrors are.

agreed on the 99-07 spot mirrors.. i think they are to small to use quickly/safely..

i added convex round mirrors to the larger portion.. i dont even look at teh little factory spots anymore...

just couldnt get em set to were i felt safe using/trusting em..
