FX4 package and Rancho shocks

OK...tried the search thing...and no luck.

I apologize for all these questions, but I want to know everything about my new truck.

I called the Ford dealership and spoke to the salesman that sold me my truck to inquire about the type of Rancho shocks that came on my FX4 equiped 6.0 and he didn't know.

What kind of ranchos come with the FX4 package? I noticed it was only a $250 option. Something tells me that it is bottom of the line or thereabouts.

thats right they are the bottom line rancho, one step above stock.

They may not be the highest quality shocks in the world, granted. But the 250 dollar package is well worth the money, as it adds a steering damper, reenforced front springs, and helper springs in the back. The ride and handling on my 04 FX4 is far superior to that of my 03 without the FX4, not to mention that potholes and the like have relatively no effect on the vehicle, even at 70+ mph.
