97 F250 Scab 4X4

1997 F250 LD XLT Regular cab Styleside 8' bed 4X4 purchased new on 2/98 for $25,350 now has 42K miles. Pacific green metallic with medium graphite interior. 60/40 split bench seat. No major modifications except trailer brake controller, soft tonneau cover, bed mat, storage bin behind seat, removed front license plate bracket. Plan to replace factory am/fm/cass with factory radio with cd.

5.4 Liter auto trans
3.73 limited slip rear
trailer towing group
payload package #2
skid plates
sliding rear window
LT245/75R16D OWL tires on chrome wheels (stock)
silver pinstripes

Only problem experienced after one month it had rough idle and poor gas mileage. Dealer replaced an O2 sensor and upgraded the computer code. Recently replaced front brakes. Love the truck, still get compliments.

Late to join, but I figured I could add on -

99 F250LD 4x4 Lariat, White, Screw.

Bought used after being used as a work truck, so high miles 185,000, but still going strong.

Mods - slightly bigger tires (which need to be replaced soon), missing passenger side mirror (oops), disabled driver's-side power door lock (oops, it was barely working, but my fix killed it all together), intermitant wipers (whether or not I actually turn them on, they intermitantly come on all on their own), angled running boards (I guess the folks who owned it before me drove over something big??), disabled overdrive on/off switch (missing when I bought it).

Still, looks pretty good and runs really well.

Daily Driver.

I'm ready to start making this a project truck, but I may have to wait a while.

'01 7700 s/c Pacific green outside with matching Jeraco cap, tan inside. Premium sound, roof console with compass and thermometer sliding rear window and sliding front cap window, 60/40 leather buckets, fog lights. Chrome wheels, 4X4. All bone stock and 112,000 miles, still runs and drives great! And how quiet can a truck interior be? No mods, except 45 watt rear bumper lights.

We have a few... then we have the people that don't read the title of the post and understand it fully. I do appreciate a good pic of a Ford truck, though, no matter the style.

Keep on posting those pics of 250LDs/7700s.

Edit:
Thought I'd update the mod list
90K miles, Island Blue with Graphite interior XLT S/C 4x4 with color match canopy
still factory 3.73 LS, 4R70W, 5.4
home made FIPK with Air Hog filter, BBK 75mm TB and pulley kit, Flex-a-lite e-fan, Powerdyne TB spacer, 90mm Lightning MAF, Bassani '02-'03 H-D in front of tire true dual exhaust kit (no 'y' pipe) custom home set-up, NR Glo-gauge faces and white A/C panel, and Predator tuner I'm dinking with. Edelbrock headers are waiting to be installed as I figure out when I'll have the time to take the truck down for a couple of days. I have a broken exhaust stud issue.
