Book it out on kbb.com. YOu should be able to get it for $100-$500 over invoice.

I just ordered my 2000 F250 SD. Here are the options and price. Lariat, V-10, 4sp auto, 4x4, supercab, longbed, snowplow pack, 4x4 pack, towing pack, Dark red paint, tinted glass, rear sliding glass, shift on the fly, 3.73 limited slip, Premium radio with CD, Roof clearance lights, towing reciever hitch. Has everything. $30,000 and dealer wants $750. I live in New Jersey. The dealer is a large car and truck dealer. He sells about 20 superduties per month. I should get it in 6-8 weeks. The price quoted you is a bit high..
I guessed at the various options you might have opted for, and tried to error on the 'too high' side..

Invoice (including dest) would be around 27,000.

So I would think you could get it for 27,500 or 28,000 once you add FDAF (around $200), and Tax/Title/Tags..


Tell the dealer you'll be fair to them, if they are fair to you.. Have them show you the invoice price.. You should do some homework on www.edmunds.com and print out a few sheets.. Be educated, it will save you $$.

 

I just bought a 2000 v-10 automatic lariat crew cab 4wd with all the options at $31,000. you should be able to do better than that quoted price.
