I just picked up a '68 F250 Camper Special with a 390 and I'm glad to find this forum. The truck is in great, original condition and has never strayed far from its birthplace nearby in San Jose. I've been scouring the posts here for the last couple of weeks and it's time to start asking questions and i'm looking forward to solving a couple of issues.
Hi there skelco welcome to FTE. I am sure as you have noticed in your scouring the forums that there are a lot of good folks here more than willing to help their fellow Ford users with some of their questions and share the knowledge they have, so your definitely in the right place.
A 68, wow.. you will have to post some pictures to your garage when you are able, I think the community would love to get a gander at your truck! Don't see many of those years of trucks on the road unless someone has restored them, so it should be interesting to see yours.
I am sure if you look thru the forums for year of truck and or engine some of the folks here could try and answer some of your questions or point you in the right direction to find some answers. I would give that a go. Hope that helps and enjoy your FTE experience!
