It would be safe to bet that both the MAP and EVP need to be replaced. I had the code 32 checkd the sensor and it needed replacement. Its about $50 from FORD. I tried one from Autozone but it didn't work. You may have better luck than I did, but thats just what happened to me.
I think you are counting blinks wrong. 22 is probably a 11, 11 (codes flash twice) then there is a single flash (separator pulse), then codes flash and repeat - 32, 32. MAP sensors rarely go bad. With the EGR, it could be the position sensor, or it could be a number of other things. A Haynes manual has test procedures for checking the EGR system to narrow down the problem. A code 32 can be caused by a stuck EGR valve or a bad vacuum line between the EVR and the EGR valve.
well the sweeps of my multimeter went 2 quick short pause 2 quick, longer pause 1 quick short pause 3 quick short pause 2 quick longer pause 3 quick short pause 2 quick nothing.
I did this 3 times, and get the same things each time. For the KOEO test is it the same except I start it up instead of turning the key to on? with vehicle warmed up.
The codes are output twice for first the continuous codes, then there's a single sweep called the "separator pulse" then memory codes are output twice. KOER is the same method, but there are a couple things you might need to do. There will be an engine code (4 flashes/sweeps for a V8) then possibly a single "goose code" which when it flashes, you need to punch the gas pedal long enough for the rpms to go above 2500 rpm then let off, and turn the steering wheel at least 1/4 turn. Then the actual diagnostic codes will be output.
Wow. Thank you very much for the information, I surely do appreciate it. I have a chilton for the truck and except for a few places it is quite informative.
I'll look up the EGR check and check all the vacuum lines.
Thanks
