Powertrain Control System fuse keeps blowing
I have a '96 F-150 Eddie Bauer edition. We recently replaced the tranny on it and it ran fine. Now, it keeps blowing the "powertrain control system" fuse under the hood. I don't know why so any help would be appreciated.

Javi, I'm thinking you might have more luck if this is posted in the 1997-2003 forum, as '96 was a transition year, and both old and new styles were built, maybe you have a newer one? I don't think my '95 has anywhere near the brains for a "powertrain control system" Then again i might just be completely wrong. Either way, you might check for a grounded wire, maybe one was hit by accident during tranny installation?
