jaygoes,i was going to put a 4.5 edge lift and than put 35s on but everyone is saying i will burn up the tranny. i no it will wont be as good as 456 but how does your truck get around and how long have ago did you do all this thanks.
My tires are 33's The trany does ok with them but I can
tell that it wants better gears. At 65 mph it runs about 1800 rpm
I only get 9 to 10 mph city 11 to 12 mph hwy. I have been running
with it like this for about 25,000 miles now just over a year. Tires still look good.
I figure I can get 20,000 more out of them. That's when I will
change the gears to 488 because I will go up to 36 inch tires. If you
are going to go to 35. It's going to be real hard on your trany.
That's for sure..

There would be something new everyone could argue about.
I don't know, V16 vs. the Cummins ISX 565 (565HP) would be a good argument. Of course, I think the diesel would win!
I saw the motor I want in my next truck. I was watching the RFD channel, and they had the "BIG BUD" 900 hp, V16-92 Detroit Diesel farm tractor on there. What a hoss! This guy was pulling an 80 foot wide chisel plow setup at 8mph. That thing makes BIGFOOT look like a Ranger.
V10DoubleTow,
I tried to e-mail you but can because I'm a new member, but I'm interested in a set of the decals, New 6.0L style 2003 1/2 -above PSG V8. If possible could you e-mail me the details.
Thanks
