What? It's got an intake stroke, and exhaust stroke, a POWER STROKE and a compression stroke, just like any other 4-stroke engine. Like it or not. And yes, my 5.4L has plenty of POWER. (And doesn't stink or make ungodly noises.)
NO!! NO! NO!! In 08 they coming out with the V16. It is the same size Motor as the V8.
But each cylinder is split into it's own V. Making each cylinder a half cylinder. It also
has 6 valves for each split. Three crank shafts one primary and two secondary. The
primary shaft turns the two secondary shafts as well as some of the split pistons.
The secondary shafts turn the remaining split pistons. It is a 50/50 mix of Diesel and gas
giving the best of both worlds. Putting out 2015 HP at 3000 RPM.. Getting 300 MPH
Maybe a small axial flow turbine would do the trick, like the types used on helicopters. They are small and light yet produce much more power at better mileage. And you can burn just about any fuel you can find. Coleman white camp stove gas to home-heating oil. (Old banana peels and beer cans optional, 1.21 gigawatts! Great Scott!) The Allison 250-C20 comes to mind here, 600 BHP, and they weigh less than 200 lbs. (Hey, I could squeeze another half-inch out of my 4" lift since I got 4.5" from my 540 lbs 5.4L PSG.) The reciprocating engine belongs in my grandfather's grave.
I already had to built a bigger garage to put my truck in. And I built it 30 feet long, so I'll be able to fit the V16 in with no problem, I just have to move the other toys out of the way. This will be better than the ford GT.
