What is the hole in the back of the head that has a tube bolting to it and the two from the different heads meet in the intake? The Heads are E5's
I am replacing them with GT40P form a 96 Explorer
The motor is an 87 HO 351w
The holes look like they are for Coolent or something like that
Can i block them off?
Do the Gt40p's Have them
The hole I think you are refering to is for the EGR system or for the air to be pumped in the back of the heads and I believe the GT-40P heads should have this as well and yes you can buy the plugs for this hole at the dealership.
what would the change in compression be if say i have the stock
8.5:1 if i put the GT-40p's on inplace of the E5's?
what is the combustion chambes size on the Gt's
