You see them on line for around $15. QUESTION any one got one and was it worth the money. I have got stuff like this before and been disipointed? Could you have built a wiring harness from the info in the pages?
I have a photocopy of one.
Uhhh, I'd say it's worth about half what they charge, but where else are you gonna get one? Compared to some diagrams I've worked with on other cars, it's a bit vague. It also has ALL the trucks in it, not just the pickups, so it can be a bit confusing. Could you build a harness from it? I doubt it.
FTE 'Motorhaven' has the wiring diagram for about $6. Purchase one for my 65 f100 and found it very helpful. Covers the various electrical options. Thought it was worth the money, not sure would pay much more for it. Whether able to make harness from manual another question. Was able to replace the harnesses for engine, taillight, and heater thru Mr. Mustang. They do not make the instrument cluster harness. With the book, and extra harness to use as template hope to make one up.
Dave have you still got that wiring diagram handy still? Is it something the could be scanned and sent as an email. I do not have any electrical issues but would be handy to have.
Cheers....
Tried to scan and forward an article for another FTE member about a week ago and was not successful. Not sure what problem is. The fact that i am not computer literate probably has alot to do with it.
Actually, the $6 Motorhaven charges for the manual is not a bad deal. Would not pay up to $15 as some members indicate they purchased them for.
There are about 11 separate diag. in the manual. If you want to email me, i may be able to figure out how to attach document to your email address.
Rhino, I suspect you have a ground problem, about 98% all are. There is rust or other crap in the area that is keeping the ground from being made, so the bulb doesn't burn.
