flathead coil wire hook up-which one where?

I got a new coil for my damaged one. just to be sure here can you help? Old coil had 2 wires, one marked batt, other marked dist, new coil has a - (neg) post and a + (pos) post. This is a 6v postivie ground system. which wire goes to what post? There is a gold plastic sleeve wire and a blue wire off the distributor. It is simple i know but I am having a brain lock today. Thanks for any help. RH

On a positive ground system, the power supply (batt) goes to the (-) post. The (+) post is the ground and the wire goes from this to the bottom of the distributor.

Of course the heavy cable out the top of the coil goes to the center of the dist cap.
