There are 2 different size lines I have seen on these trucks. A 5/16 and 3/8 line. Make sure you have the correct size for the line. Press the tool all the way into the coupling so that it will completely release the metal little teeth inside the coupling. As long as you have the tool pressed all the way into the coupling it will come apart with a good pull. Hope that helps. Fred

Yeah, they can be sticky even when you have the tool pressed in there....just push the right size tool all the way in, spin it around and tug real hard and it will come off. Try wiggling it a litte too when your pulling. Don't hurt yourself.

The best thing I have found to free up the connections is use some WD-40 on them. Once they are soaked good, spray air in the connection this always seems to free them up. Sometimes they snap right off and other times I have spend a half-hour fighting them.

I've found that pulling the two lines together as much as possible when sliding the tool into the coupling helps quite a bit.
