electric choke conversion

Hello, I have a 69 F250 360 with autolite 2bbl #DOTFR - looking to convert to electric choke. I know I've seen electric choke conversion kits - but for some reason my local part store just can't comprehend what I need. Does anyone have a source or part number for this kit?

You may be able to use a Holley electric choke conversion kit, Summit p/n HLY-45-224. Hope this healps you.

well, we actually ended up putting on a holley choke and wired it onto the alternator & rebuilt the carb. When we tried to start it up - HUGE backfire, matter of fact - I think it blew out our brand new muffler! Oil went squirting out of the dipstick. Gas is fuel fouled - suspect this happended driving it home from the exhaust shop - it was loading up really bad - solid black smoke and ended up stalling out in our driveway. Really high idle as well. Any ideas how to fix this! We're going to change the oil before we do anything else.
