Pillar mounts on our trucks...right...if you want to climb in the bed to read them...I dont think it would look too good..in the newer trucks the dash is longer..you are further from the pillars...the seats are further back...so you can see them..im thinking i wouldnt be able to see the mirror at night cause of the radiant glow from the guages right in my way..i am putting mew guages of mine in a center console i designed and built..better view..and not in the way of anything...not looking to change your mind..just to make some points for consideration-

i havent seen any pillar pods for our trucks, the only thing that might work is if you were to mold one from a scion xB since the windshields are at a similar angle
Hey leadmic! Why isn't there a pic of your '74 F100 428CJ in your gallery? We'd all like to see it. PM me sometime. I'm building a '73 F100 4wd with a SCJ.
Ben
Hey Ben, the 74 was parked about 3 yrs ago because of smog laws here in Calif. and its in need of a paint job badly. Its has a 70 428 thats had the compression lowered to 9.3to1 it has a 68 med. riser P.I. alum. manifold small crane cam headers and the heads have been lightly ported. It runs good but I have 3.50 gears with 33s in. tires so its too high geared. This year I dont have to smog it anymore so Ill have to get it going agin.
I have a 73 crewcab SB that Im in the process of working on right now. I have a 97 MASS SFI 460 that Im putting in it thats going to be nice once its done but I have limmited funds right now (four teen agers) so progress is slow.
Anyway ill try to post some pics one of thease days.
Thanks for the intrest Leadmic
