79 Water Pump Change?

Hey everyone,
Now i was looking to buy a new water pump in the Summit catalog, and i noticed that the 302 stops at 1978 on all applications, and starts a different product for 79-85 i think. Why would this be? I have 79 ranchero, so would i buy the 79-85 one? Also, the pushrods from comp did the same thing. If someone could help, that would be great. Thanks
Danny

Yes the 79-85 should be right but ask when you order to make sure of the right application.
