Well, i picked up a 351 to go into my 93 F150 and i'm looking to do a complete overhaul on the motor, i figured out pretty much everythng else i need but i'm stuck on the heads. The kid i got it from said they are E7TE, supposedly okay for a stock head. Whats an average going price of dissasembly, cleaning, magnaflux, and rebuild of the stockers with new valves springs, and surfacing? Would it be more worth my time to go to a different head, as i'm looking for some performance gains, it's getting roller cam/lifters/rockers, headers. Hopefully get in the 300hp 400ft-lb range when all is said and done.
I was poking around ebay and i saw a pair of heads that were of interest to me. D8OE, not sure on the CC specs or flow rates, but they did come with the larger 1.94 1.5 valves. And are so far at a reasonable $199. Any input would be appreciated.
