I installed an AC system into my nonAC truck, and I'm not sure which hose goes to high side of pump, and which goes to block. Coming out of the heater core, they are situated left and right. On my 351C, I have an outlet on my pump, and one coming out of the block by the dipstick. Anyone know the proper termination of the hoses so I dont cross them?
All,
What kind of a pump is thw ater pump? Is it centrifugal? It must be? That means, the pump pumps through the heater core. You should always pump the bottom of the coil when opportunity allows. This allows air to rise and escape the coil. it may also stir up the crud and pump it back to the motor, thereby preventing the core from clogging. I know, that last statement is a stretch.
