Heater Hose Question
Im running my heater hoses, braided and I want to use AN hose ends. I really dont want to use hose clamps. For the nipples that come out of the block and water pump, are they threaded in or pressed in? If theyre threaded in then Im guessing I can use channel locks or vise grips to take them out since theres no way to use a wrench for them.

The nipples for the block and WP are threaded standard NPT. They can be a bear to get out if they have been in for a while and will likley get destroyed in the process if that matters.
For really old ones, heat the nipple to a red heat then touch it with parrefin or a candle just above the threads. The heat will break the bond of rust and the wax will flow in an act as a lubricant.
