!!4.9-5.0 swap help!!
I have a few questions.... I am swapping a 1994 EFI 5.0L engine out of a 1994 van into a 1992 F-150 with a EFI 4.9L engine. and I need to know what to do about the wiring harness, will the harness that came with the 5.0 work? Also, I need a computer but I am not sure if I should get one from a 1994 van, 1992 F-150 or a 1994 f-150 (all with 5.0L) and Where could I find one? My truck is a 5 speed 4x4. and also, with the 5.0 in my truck (we managed to get that far) the clutch or pressure plate or something would not engage, does anyone know maybe what the problem is? We got a new flywheel for the 5.0. Maybe it has something to do with the slave cylinder? I am not sure, but anyone's help would be greatly appreciated. Also, any other tips would be great, thanks, Mark

You'll probably have to get a computer from an F150, because I don't think Ford put stick shifts in the vans those years. Get a computer for a 92 or 93 F150 with a 5.0 and manual transmission.
