2003 Explorer DEATC
1) The recirculation control does not work--you can hear it activating when you press the button, but no change in air-flow. Something is stuck or broken. The dealer has advised the only fix is to remove the dash to get to the plenum, and I am hesitant in that I don't want the hassle of returning with rattle and squeak problems every few months. Any advise?
2) The blower fan velocity changes when set at lower fan speeds. It basically sounds like gusts of wind coming through the air vents, but no real noticable change in air-flow--it will do this whether the engine is running or not. Any thoughts?
