Aviator transmission

What tranny was installed in the 2005 Aviator? Was it the same 5 speed 5R55 as the Explorer, or something else?
Has anyone here changed rear diffy oil?
How is that done?

It's the same 5R55S as was used in the Gen 3 Explorers/Mountys. There is at least one TSB you should be aware of, TSB 05-21-8:
