Originally posted by Hot Spot $11 per month for the warranty extension and for the quality care service contract
After 3years 36000 miles, the Quality Care service contract has a $50 deductible. There is no deductible for the extended warranty.
Hotspot. Wow, I understand correctly you got the 5 year wty plus service COMBINED for $11.00 x 60 months = $660!!! I've looked around and can't even come close to that price for warranty alone. Was this price part of your purchase agreement or if not I'd be curious who your dealer is - as for that price I'd be interested in one.
with my new F-250, less than 1,000 I'm getting an average of about 16-17 mixed driving, unloaded. I'm hoping that strict highway will push it to over 18. I'm an d slow fart who drives only about 75 max so I should be able to do it.
This was a special deal that Ford offered in August of 2003. I normally only keep a vehicle two or three years, but the service/warranty was so cheap, I figured why not. And this will add some value when I trade her in. I have always done my Ford business with Crossroads Ford in Cary, NC.
Originally posted by 03 SuperDuty FX4 My 6.0 with a build date of 04/03 I get around 17-18 mpg highway cruising at 75-80 mph and around 15 mpg city. Truck runs great and I have no regrets about purchasing this truck.

until they come up with a mileage fix, can we somehow put an Older flash in it? Does the dealer keep old software in the system? This is friggin rediculous already... been months now of horrible milaege and guess what- fuel aint cheap right now.
what if you knew someone with a programmer, that stores your original before upgrading...... could they "restore" mine to their old one? or is it locked to their VIN number?
Well. The mileage for me was one draw. The other was being able to get a trailer if I wanted to. Coming from an 02 Silverado (gas) at 13. I was hoping for more with the Ford. Not getting it tho (so far)
1000 Miles. First fill up I went 310 miles and dumped 24 Gal. 12.92. Same as the Chev. Not so happy. I also got the 04 thinking it was an 04. Build date 08/03 and the motor says 2003 Motor on the valve cover.

TIM
It might pull like a mule but it sure drinks the fuel, that is the one thing that is suprising to me it only has 35 more pounds of torque then the 7.3 and it just doesnt pull much different then my 7.3 just has more take off power because of hp increase and trans. change. I for one am not to impressed.
