Does anyone know how to adjust the headlights on the '03 Expeditions? Got involved in a front end crash in which the body shop put in new headlights. Now the driver's light is about 4 inches high, blinding anyone in front of me. Passenger side is about 4 inches low and off to the right, luminating the yellow line on the ground.
I don't want to go back there because it's going to be a hassle in leaving the vehicle there.
I took a quick peek and saw only 2 screws that looked to be adjusting points. One was a 11/32 socket size screw that is vertical i.e perpendicular to the ground, this appears to be the screw to hold the lamp housing in place, since loosening the screw seemed to loosen the whole headlamp assembly.
There's another weird looking screw that is horizontal, ie. parallel to the ground, that doesn't seem to have a head on it. Not sure what this one does but it looks to be the screw that might adjust the lens side to side.
Not sure if an '03 is same as prior years, but you should have two adjusters on each headlight. The inside adjusters do up/down while the outside adjusters do left/right.
