11 Btdc

Just set my timing to 11 BTDC with spout connector out. shut down engine made sure everything was tight. started it back up to see if it had moved at all still right on the money shut it back down reconnected spout started it back up now it reads 21 BTDC is the computer advancing it? and is it susposed to do that.

Yes this is normal, however mine bumps it up 7 degrees at idle. With the spout removed you will notice that there is no advance at all when you rev the engine. I set mine at 13 and I am very happy with it there.
