current texas weather

We got 1/2 inch snow here outside New Braunfels. My crews tell me 35 was actually covered. Ofcourse not with anything really, but even a little is abig deal to these people who have never been outside Texas.

Im in San Antonio too.. it snowed! I am in the northwest part, got a bit of snow on my deck and truck. supposed to melt by 8:00am. Hill country and New Braunfels area got 1-3"

Hey. It snowed here last night and its still snowing. Its about 9:20. The snow wont stick around long though, itll probably melt off in the afternoon. But theres no ice or anything so no sledding or things of the sort. its gotta be about 2 inceh cuz everything thats off the ground around here that i can see the bottom of hass about 2 inches of snow on it. Well i gotta get out there before it all melts.

Hey, it will be minus 23 F up here tonight and the wind is blowing like hell at 50 km, which makes it about minus 30 or 40.
Hope I would be in the south.
The dog is in the house and he dosen't want to go outside, poor guy. It is valentine day today, so the wife will keep everything warm...

Ford51, ya know when ya hope it closes school or stick around long to. it don't happen. Even though i'm out of school (25yrs old) that same thought hit me while looking out the window this morning before heading out for a snow coyote hunting. Boy it never did this while i was in school. mainly sleet to delay classes and the closesure of school once every few years. but all-in-all fun day in the snow. even yanked a lexis outta a snowy mud hole...

It needs to warm up soon. I have a 4x4 trip planned to the beach on the 25th. I dont expect sunkissed blondes running around, but I dont want to be cold while I dig myself out.

Just a hope, but i didnt snow again and todat its warm outside and the only place theres still snow is on snowmen and under bushes. And its closed school a few times. Last year it "sowed" in february and closed school for 3 days! so i estimate Ill be a senior next time we get snowed out. O well.
