I bought a kit that came with a S&B power stack filter, a machined aluminum MAF adapter, and a bracket that secures the filter to the front bulkhead. It costs $90. Doesn't come with a new air intake tube because they said the 2.3 doesn't take in enough air to need a larger intake tube. It was really easy to install and the aluminum MAF adapter is really nice. The bracket is pretty hard to see. If you want a better pic. just let me know.

I plan on making a heat shield. Home depot sells some 30 Gauge sheet metal. It's pretty thin, so I could make a template out of cardboard and cut the sheet metal with some tin snips or a cutting wheel. It's actually roof flashing. They sell it buy the gutters and its only like $10 for 50 feet.

I would try to get aluminum because it resists heat better, but the sheet metal would work.

I didn't mean to say sheet metal, it was aluminum.
