that may have been prevented if the justice system was working. The 11 y.o. girl, Carly was just found deceased behind a church in Fla. They have a security clip showing the predator grabbing the childs wrist and pulling her away. I first thought, "dammit child, fall down , scream, make him pull you, you are at a car wash, golf driving range area, somebody will hear you scream". But, if you look at the tape close, he is pulling her, she is giving resistance, but not fighting back like a truly scared child would with a stranger that just grabbed her. . Looking at that tape its almost looks like this predator , when he went up to her, probaly said something like , " your Moms been hurt, hurry come with me " or something of that nature. How do you train kids against this type of attack, she didnt have a chance, God, its sickening
What made it worse was the Private investigator that called Fox News. He ADMITS he knew something about where this guy was. He was going to call AFTER his interview with Greta on Fox news.
After the phone call, others at Fox news were mad because he waited to call the authorities.
This guy had No business being out of jail. I hope they get him good!
The real sad part is that this guy was aquitted once on charges of kidnapping and after being arrested 13 times in less than ten years he was able to kill a poor innocent girl. I hate to think that anyone could debate that this man has the right to live. Maybe he will get some real justice while waiting for trial. This is a sick world and it is about time that we do something to people that commit crimes of violence,sex/torture, and especially to children. I watched a program last night and there are nearly 500,ooo predators like him roaming around that are convicted sexual predators that is not the ones that have gotten away or that are detained. The system has lost track of many of these people, so it is just bound to happen again and again. Maybe I am radical but at the least we should tattoo their forehead with pervert or child molester so that everyone can be aware when they are near. Who really gives a damn whether or not everone hates them or treats them terrible, what can they really contribute to society again. The leading authority on child molestation fro John - Hopkins agrees that you can never trust any of them-- so why do we allow them to roam to do it again. I guess the most any of us can do is watch out for all the children and help change legislation to deal with these creeps. I have personally known people that have been victims and I can tell you it does not just destroy the vicitm but it destroys entire families. I say no second chances to anyone who could hurt a child, no exceptions...
Ghostgunn sais "Maybe I am radical but at the least we should tattoo their forehead with pervert or child molester so that everyone can be aware when they are near. "
I totally agree with you. Just like the old witching days. Only I'd apply it with a nail gun to their forehead!!
i think there should be a limit on how many times you can be arrested before you spend life in jail. somthing like the 3 strikes/felonies and your out deal.
this guy was arrested 13 times before he did this correct? did the judge who sentenced or fined him the 13th time teally stop and think maybe he really is going to change after this.
i know that it might not seem fair to give sombody life in jail if he gets arrested for shoplifting on his 10th time, but obviously this person is a threat to society, and should spend the rest of his days in a prison.
thats another thing, i think prisons should go back to the chain gangs. Hard labor would not only give the prisoners somthing to do other than learn to be better criminals, but it would cut the states spending on things like road repairs, etc.
instead of a humane death penalty i believe they should go for an eye for an eye type justice system. if you beat a little girl to death, you should be beaten to death. if you strangled someone, you should be strangled. this would all be dont shortly after a conviction is made. not 10 years after ditting on death row . i think it would not only deter alot of the violent crimes in the country, but it would cut the spending on death row inmates.
Originally posted by hreed I could save the taxpayers a lot of money in court costs for this one! I think probably $1.25 could solve a lot of problems.
i can get ammo a little cheaper than that and would be happy to do the honors.
i have 2 kids myself and could not imagine...
The sad thing is, look at all the death's after girl's are kidnapped. 90% of the time the guy who did it has been in and out of jail for various sex crimes, and we're saying there's nothing that we can do about it? This guy went to jail for doing this kind of thing how many times before for this sort of thing, wouldn't you think after a certain amount of times you do something about it? It can be prevented.
I live here in Albuquerque, where recently we had a murder in the Sunshine Theater during a concert right in the middle of down town. The victim was a 17 yr old girl. The murderer was a 20-21 yr old who had been released by the judge for raping his four year old cousin, just four years earlier. His family plead with the judge to release him on probabtion because he had found God. Where was his God when he raped and murdered this beautiful little girl in an upstairs room at the theater and then hid her battered body behind a vending machine. If anyone ever did that to my fiance or family member, they would have to kill me to get my hands off his throat! I would squeeze his life out of him...
