instead of a humane death penalty i believe they should go for an eye for an eye type justice system. if you beat a little girl to death, you should be beaten to death. if you strangled someone, you should be strangled. this would all be dont shortly after a conviction is made. not 10 years after ditting on death row . i think it would not only deter alot of the violent crimes in the country, but it would cut the spending on death row inmates.
I agree, but the only thing about going back to chain gangs is all the whiney people that claim that this is inhumane and we can't treat people like that. But yet it is ok to let someone who has been arrested that many times to walk around and prey on another innocent victim. I don't think so. This guy should never be allowed out of prison for the rest of his life.

This is only about the 10-15th post I have made on this subject on the various boards today. I guess just because it has happened in the same state and things like this really make me mad.

Death isn't good enough for this guy. It's too easy. We should tie his member to the receiver hitch on my Bronco and see how fast he can run before he loses it.

yeah, usually people whine do when we execute somebody. they cry when we make our prisoners work for their room and board. it sickens me how whiny people are for our countrys wors crowd.

i believe it was in arizona, but not 100% sure, but a prison warden solved his over crowded problem by buying a bunch of surplus tents. the public whined and complained about how in-humane it was to keep prisoners in tents... boo hoo

the wardens defense was a verrry strong one... he said wait just a minute... its perfectly fine to put our nations soilders in these tents while they are out dying for you, but its inhumane to put our prisoners in the SAME exact tents..>??? go figure

What happened to the good old days.........

When a particularly hienous criminal would never make it to court. The outraged towns folk would give him a warm "interception on the road " party. Better yet bring about the concept of "escape from New York", where criminals are tossed onto an island full of people just like him and told fend for yourself. Never to be let off the island for the rest of his life. Would be a whole lot cheaper then the current prison system.

Very true about the overcrowding Brian. The prison systems are letting parole and releases go to guys like this one, just because we are running out of cell space. It looks to me like all the abandoned military bases could be made in to prisons. Of course, I LOVE the tattoo on the forehead post above, if a 4 in. tatto was on this guys head in flourescent orange, this little girl would have known to kick and scream, and wouldnt have been just dragged along in a state of confusion by what ever he said to her. If these predators were tatooed, they would want to stay in prison, because they know rednecks like me are pretty good hitting the ten ring on a orange circle at 200 yards,

The biggest problem with putting people in prison is keeping them there. It cost taxpayers too much to operate prisons. I think maybe we should go to some sort of justice system where the punishment suits the crime. You steal--you loose a hand--You rape--you loose your sexual organs, You murder --you loose your life. I think it would only take a few people being punished right away, not 25---30 years after the crime was committed to slow down future crimminals. We had a prison warden years ago that said our prisons were too nice. People committed crimes and were treated better in prison than the tax payers that supported the prisons. If prisons were made less enjoyable maybe some would never comitt a crime to return once they tried out a cruel prison. As for that guy in Fla. He should have never made it to the jail house once the little girls body was found.

It is AZ- Sheriff Joe.

The deal with that little girl being killed makes me sad beyond description. I'm a pretty resilient guy but the thought of her being taken and killed brings tears to my eyes.

If that happened to my daughter or son I really don't think I could go on. The anguish would be unbearable.

I can't imagine what he was thinking...he isn't even human.

Does anyone remember the video of that guy shooting his kid's karate instructor? It was filmed by a TV news crew in an airport.

I would kill the SOB if he did that to my kid. I don't care how protected he would be in jail. I would find a way to see him die at my hand.

Folks: My Heart died a little bit Yesterday. It has been dying bit by bit by bit every time this type of thing happnes...it happens up here in Canada too.

And yea, we have the left wing bleeding hearts that say you can rehbilitate anyone.

DEAD WRONG. Pedophiles and sexual predators are Not capable of being rehabilitated.

So Tatoo them, if you feel we should let them live at all...for me the $ 1.00 solution would be the "final solution" I do not own a gun but have plenty of experience in the Cdn Army .. now with two daughters 10 + 12..were this sort of thing to happen to one of mine..?? I know what I would do.

I certainly hope some of our collective politicians on both sides of the border begin to see the light in these type of cases and either keep these animals locked up or simply cap em..!!

Hell, here in Canada they get 2-5 years and are let out again right in the community with some bogus piece of paper likely "asking" that they not approach children. It just seems that here we are more worried about the perps rights than the victems.

I better stop before I go balistic.

Mad as Hell in Calgary, Alberta

Here in our town, we can gain access to the sexual offenders records on line. When they move in to our neighborhoods they have their address on the sex offenders site, so one can see where their living. I dont think its working tho, just a few months ago, the fellow that wrote a article weekly in our local paper for 6 years about gardening, was found to be a on - the - run sexual predator from out west. He was a transiet local that changed his name, and was only caught because he was arrested for child molestation in a nearby town. I dont know of a solution to this spiraling carnage against out most vunerable and weakest asset, our children. We all like to think of killing, torturing , and ridding our society of these predators. But, its not going to go that way. I believe awareness of ones own surrounding, education in self protection, and others being willing to aid others when they scream, is about all the hope we have. We have to take away the predators potential to harm by eliminating the availability of easy prey. Stop and think about it, yes , I love the tatoo proposal, but everyday another predator is in the making, or being let out of prison after serving their sentence, and NOT tattooed and we dont know who they are until they get their first victim, AND THAT is too late for all.

I have heard those who went to prison for an injustice to a child, were treated with an equal injustice while in the system. The degree of mishap and accident one recieved were of equal or greater degree than their trespass. Often to be the meaning the system would prevail. Today, it seems the system no longer is able to rectify the problematic.
I often felt the guilty should be left to the person or family of the person wronged.
As my wife loves pointing out, my opinions are just that, mine.

Sorry, after reading my post again, I see its kinda pig pen'ish.

i love the tattoo across the forehead idea. ive also thought, what about tracking devices for people we let out? like a pager for people on house arrest. it would give the location of the person whenever, whereever. so if a body gets dumped somewhere, just look up who was at that location.

i just thought of this one- put a criminal in a room thats impossible to escape, and bullet proof. set a 12 guage in the corner of the room with one shell in it, throw the ******* in, lock the doors. dont feed him. dont give him any water. repeat this process of not feeding or watering him. in time he will probably take his own life right? that way... its not an execution, its a suicide. no one needs to go through the death penalty process then.

i really felt sick to my stomache when i heard this story. same with the Dru Sjodin case in north dakota. my ex g/f met Dru at Xfest and said she was the most laid back, nice person shes met in a long time. you know what the best part of these 2 cases are? they caught the *******s FAST. only took a few days in either cases, and they have a hell of alot of evidence. its a shame 2 people had to lose their lives just for ones short term sexual pleasure.

another thing that could save on the states penalty spending- citizens or family members of murdered ones could hold auctions to see who gets the honor of doing the deed. " to the highest bidder" but it bothers me seeing people on tv who had a loved one murdered that can actually FORGIVE the person who did it.

they take someones life FOREVER. theres no coming back for them. and its usually just to satisfy someones sick pleasure, so how can you forgive someone is beyond me. and when offenders find religion... thats the biggest crock of .... ive ever heard of.

Put em all on an island, air drop enough food for half of em and plenty of weapons. Let em fight it out. Once they've wiped each other out, bring in the next bunch and repeat the process.--Jack

If you're frustrated then DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!!

The one-bullet and tattoo ideas are simplistic and satifying but not realistic or productive. Why don't you guys take your letter writing energies and channel them somewhere it will help. Contact your congressmen and DEMAND they get off their collective glutial muscles and approve some of the judicial nominations that are in front of them.

We all complain about the liberalization of the judicial system. Demand that your representatives REPRESENT YOU and take it back.
