Even though I'm 6'1" I have a hard time getting into my stock SD 4x4. I don't want a full running board, only those "beaver tail" looking kind. I have been quoted $158.00 for a set not installed and $200.00 installed. I noticed that there are already three pairs of holes on my truck and wondered if maybe their purpose was to install steps? I'm looking for opinions because I'm sure to wear a hole in my seat getting into the damn thing. Thanks for any help and suggestions.
see, steps are evil... i see it this way.... when i take a young lassy out, she will not be able to get into my truck, thus requiring assistance... this means i get to put my hands all over her.... if she faces the truck when i help her i get top goose... if she faces me, i get to look up her short skirt... and the best is when i get to look up there and see no panties....

That looks like a good option. Simple yet functional. Thanks for the reply and pic.
