I think that the base models only have manual hubs. XLT and up I think have both manual and vacuum hubs. On my truck I have both Man/ Vac hubs, but the vac. pert is not working, so I have to turn my hubs to engage the front axle for the 4x4. Not sure if I will fix 'em , cause now I can have 4x4 low range and only have the rears turning.

Thanks for the info. I updated my profile to include XLT. Makes a big difference on model accessories. I have learned alot of things from all of you on this forum the past 6 months. Especially the differences on the Early 99 and 99 1/2. I have a lot of mods that I would like to start on in the near future. I bought my truck last AUG in Jax FL. Got a really good deal and wouldn't trade it for anything. It will be even a bigger beast in a couple of years. $$$$$$

sorry for the delayed response, the power pedal is ive taken out the go pedal and elongated the holes on the throttle switch and "clocked" it some to get quicker throttle response. Not as much delay when i step on the pedal.
My XLT has manual hubs and shifter on floor for tcase (4 door power windows (my 92 xlt only had front power windows)). There are vacuum fittings on my hubs for push button, but they arent hooked up; dont want them hooked up.
Also, i think the late 99's have an intake air heater on the "Y" part of the intercooler piping.
While rebuilding my 99 from the fire damage, I couldn't believe how many different wiring harnesses and PCMs there are for a 99.
You really have to research what actually goes on your truck and make sure you have the right #'s.
