Missing **** Conspiracy
Okay, I don't know if it is common among 97 and 98 F150s, but recently while I was shopping for a new truck, I noticed that every single F150 I test drove or even looked at (which had to of been at least 6 or 7) was missing the little **** that controls the power mirrors. Now is that common or am I just crazy. Oh, by the way I did get a F150 that was missing the ****, so does anyone know where I could find one for a 97?

Well if you see any adds in the paper where someone is putting one up for sale, and they add a comment like "selling it to buy a chevy" or along those lines...just go test drive it and steal you a button....just joking (or was i?)
but as far as whether or not that is a prob...i dont think so, i recently got my truck and had test drove about 5 or 6 trucks (97-00) and dont recall any with missing power mirror butttons or switches....sorry
