YOU CAN GET A SHIFTER **** JUST ABOUT ANYWHERE. I GOT ONE THAT IS CHROME WITH BLUE LED LIGHTS ON THE TOP. AS FAR AS THE SHIFTER ITSELF, PAINT IT. I DID.

i got it at target for $20. they can also be found on ebay. the shifter **** is pressed on, pull hard and twist a little and it will come off. as for the shifter take off the boot and take out the stud. there is a nut on the stud. take it off and put it on the other side of the stud and tighten. this will pull the stud out. the stud if pressed in not threaded. once the stud is out paint.

At target? Where are you looking? How does the boot come off and what paint type did you use?

in the automotive dept. you can also go to wal-mart, pep boys or autozone. there are four screws in the plastic ring at the base of the boot, lift the corners of the boot and you will find them. i used plasti-kote paint which you can find at any auto parts store. they are base coat / clear coat so get the color you want and the clear coat.
