Detroit locker?

Ok since i don't think that the powertrax is going to work with my limited that i already have, I went to the detroit locker sight. Now my question is how do I know if I have a dana 61 or a real dana 60? What the difference. All I know is that I have a full floater axle with 4.10 gears and limited slip. the housing also has a "60" stamped into it. Thanks

you could just find an open carrier and the get the powertrax locker. still would be cheaper and eaiser than going with a detroit. but the detroit is a pretty good locker to. i don't know alot about axle ID's so i can't help you there.

You have a dana 60. 61's were mostly used under vans and where numerically lower gears were used.
