I just replaced the hub assembly and rotor on my 97 f-150. The hub was obviously loose and is nice and tight now. But now I have a wobble. Could the bad hub assemble have damaged a tie rod? How do you check for a bad tie rod? Any tips on replacement? I have never done one. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

 

Does it wabble all of the time or when braking?

 

Before you go replacing the tie rods, I'd make sure that your wheels are balanced and that the front end is aligned. There might be a cheaper fix to your problem.
