2005 F-250 CC completely stock. I have had a wobble in the front end of my truck for quite awhile but it now seems to have gotten a little worse. To the point of being dangerous.
The wobble only occurs at interstate speed light braking. If I'm to speed on the interstate/highway and brake lightly for a tight turn or an off ramp the steering wheel wobbles pretty badly. Once I'm on the brakes to come to a complete stop the wobble is gone.
I don't think it's the dreaded "Death Wobble" because it only does it when braking at high speeds. Never any other time.
Likely warped rotors, in these trucks the small vibration of a warped rotor has a tendancy to grow into a big shake bouncing the front end from side to side. Turn the rotors, cheap fix.
not all trucks have them from the factory but Rancho makes a nice kit for either a replacement or a retro fit for those that didn't have one originally ,, nice upgrade IMHO

shows how much i know. i'll look today and see if it has one.
well I started with a single replacement and it did wonders ,, but now I run dual opposing nitrogen charged bilsteins ,, either way you won't be sorry for the upgrade ,, and while it may not solve your issue if it is indeed brake related it is definitely a beneficial investment IMHO
