death wobble help!
my truck is having a bad death wobble problem almost everytime I get above 30 mph or so its an f350 with the dana 60 front end. not 100% in year since its a body swap with an f150 body, I believe it is an 88 to 91 f350 chassis and it has the 7.3 idi. It has 36 inch tires on it now, before it had 35s and it only wobbled 2 times both were going around a right turn on a rough road. now with the bigger tires just about everytime I get above 30 its start to feel like it wants to go. if I am turning to the left it stops trying to do it but he slightest turn to the right and you cann feel it trying to start up the wobble. I have repaced all tie rod ends, steering gear, hub bearings and wheel seal on passenger side, and all new shocks. and it is still doing it. I have some play in my steering wheel still could that have something to do with it? any helpor ideas are greatly appreciated
Thanks

It won't necessarily be play, more likely tight (frozen bearings (rust/dry) in the joint). The frozen/tight u-joint causes a whipping action when it can't move as it should.

U-joints? The U-joints aren't turning unless the hubs are in.
OP Are the new tires knobby and on bigger wheels?
When I bought my 87 F350 it came complete with a death wobble. The 31s it came with were toast, I put on 37s with dynabeads, no more death wobble.
Since your issue is very speed sensitive I'd look at the tires. Most traditional death wobbles are initiated by a bump.
You have a king pin 60, the upper bushing/spring is often a culprit of the death wobble. Even if the bushing isn't worn the spring is too weak, I've read of people fixing this by putting a washer or two on the spring to tighten it.
