need advice - A/C removal
I have a 88' eddie I just bought for almost nothing. It's a real beater (but I love her). I want to remove the a/c system and haven't seen a belt configuration with no compressor. Does anyone know of one, or do i have to leave the compressor or make a pully for the spot.

I don't know what size belt you need, But!! This is what I did. I took a piece of string and wrapped it around all the accessory pulley's except the one I was removing, measured the length of the rope, drove the truck to the auto parts store with a starting point and told them I wanted to check the belt to see if it fit, checked it right there in the parking lot, only takes a second to change, and I got the right size. That is the best way to do it rather than running back and forth. Measure with your old belt on with the tensioner. The measurement I took was not the size I needed, it ended up being 2" smaller than what I measured. But I had a starting point . Good Luck
