I'm changing head gaskets on my 89 302. The head bolts are all out but the heads are stuck solid. I even pried on 'em with a 2X4. Any ideas on getting them loose?
Tap a stout putty knife in between the head and block. There are some tabs at the end of the heads that you should be able to use as leverage with a large screwdriver to pop them loose
